About the Recipe

Experience a flavour explosion with this Sweet and Sour Pork that will transport your taste buds straight to a bustling Asian street market. This dish combines tender pork with a tangy, vibrant sauce for a meal that's sure to impress your friends and family.

Ingredients

450g Pork Fillets, sliced


For the Sauce


2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp Honey

2 Tbsp Cornflour mixed with 2 Tbsp Water

6 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup

1 Orange, juice only

100ml Chicken Stock

1 Tbsp Dry Sherry

1 Red Chilli, sliced

2 cloves Garlic, peeled and grated

3cm Ginger, peeled and chopped finely


To Serve


4 Spring Onions, sliced

10g Coriander, chopped

Preparation

Heat a large non stick pan until hot

Add the Pork with a drizzle of oil and cook on both sides for 2 minutes

Add the Sauce ingredients

Bring to the boil then simmer for 4 to 5 minutes

Divide the Pork onto two Plates

Spoon the sauce on top

Finish with Spring onions and Coriander.
